I am an Arab-Ecuadorean journalist and artist residing in New York. In this site you will be able to learn about who I am and what I do as a news producer and as a children’s book writer and illustrator.

As a Producer for NHK Japan Broadcasting I have covered the United Nations as my main beat but I have also researched and produced stories around and about the Americas.

As a children book writer and illustrator I have completed three books – “Mei and Her Flying Dream,” “Lilly, Penny and the Book With All The Answers” and “Maria’s Flower Fields.”

Outside of work I love karaoke and martial arts (I train a style called Nabi Su Kung Fu, taught by Master Carolyn Campora).

I love politics, arts and New York City.
